
Day 1: Morondava – Belo sur Mer
After breakfast, we drive by 4WD to the beautiful fishing village of Belo sur Mer. It’s a track about 80 km long. The place is well known for the manufacture of dhows. Dinner and overnight at the hotel Ecolodge du Menabe or similar
Day 2: Belo sur Mer
Breakfast, canoe ride, swimming, walking tour, visit the production of this handmade dhow, and visit the village. Dinner and overnight in the same hotel.
D3 Belo sur mer – Manja – Morombe
After breakfast, we board our 4WD to drive inland to visit the small farming town of Manja. Then we go to the village of Bevoay and from there we cross the river of Mangoky by ferry. Note that in this part of the island, baobab tree are ubiquitous. Dinner and overnight at the hotel Chez Katia or similar
D4 Morombe – Andavadoaka
We walk in the traditional and charming city of Morombe, where the time seems to be stopped. Then we drive about 45 km to reach the wonderful site of Andavadoaka where the reef ends. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Coco Beach or similar
D5 – D6 Andavadoaka – Salary
To follow in the tracks of zebu carts, we go on a coastal trail aboard a 4WD. This tour allows us to traverse huge pine forests dotted with baobabs tree. Then we arrive to Salary, a village by the side of the sea in overwhelming charm. Indeed, we inevitably succumb to the white sandy beach. Dinner and overnight at the hotel Salary Bay or similar
D7 Salary – Ifaty – Tulear
We continue along the coastal trail before reaching the village of Ifaty. After lunch, we leave to Tulear, the capital of the Southwest of Madagascar. Dinner and overnight at the hotel The Palétuvier or similar. End of the services.
